Welcome to our wellness retreat on the lovely volcanic island of Lanzarote. During a week in November we will be doing yoga, expressive/healing writing and thai yoga massage together in a small international group, surrounded by a beautiful coastal Canarian environment.

We will be staying in cozy and colorful pension Casitas Tabayesco on the east side of Lanzarote. It is the perfect getaway location as it is off the beaten tourist track and set in a rural and very tranquil part of the island, with lovely sandy beaches, lava tunnels and caves. Only 1 kilometre away is the charming fishing village Arrieta, where we will be having a couple of our dinners in the beachside restaurants, which specialize in a great selection of tapas, paella and fresh local fish.

  • Accommodation 7 nights at Casitas Tabayesco in shared double room (only a very limited number of single rooms for an extra fee of €150)

About the yoga:

We will be doing vinyasa flow yoga, which benefits strength and flexibility, improves blood flow and general well-being. The name flow comes from the smooth way the yoga poses are connected together to make a sequence, and each movement is synchronized to a breath. 

About the expressive/healing writing:

Expressive, or healing writing, is not about becoming a great writer, use correct grammar or accomplish stylish texts for publishing. It is a powerful and transforming tool to use, just like yoga or meditation, to acheive wellbeing, clarity and self awareness. Healing writing has been proved to reduce stress, anxiety and depression. It could help you heal from trauma och bring you greater focus in life as well as guide you towards your personal goals. New research has also shown that this form of writing has physical benefits, such as better sleep, lower blood pressure and a stronger immune system.

About the thai yoga massage:

Thai yoga massage overall improves our physical and mental well-being and works on the energy lines we have throughout our body, steadily releasing blockages. As it combines yoga stretches this helps to deepen the flexibility of the body. During our sessions we will work in pairs and use our palms and fingers to apply firm pressure to different body parts. You can wear loose, comfortable clothing during the sessions. 

About your hostesses:


is a journalist, content writer and a certified writing coach as well as a Write Your Self guide. She teaches the methology healing/expressive writing and will be giving you access to useful tools for your own personal development. There is no pressure, no expectations, no prestige - the only thing you need is a willingness to explore your own inner world and to be inspired spiritually, mentally and creatively.


Since 2015 Emma has been practicing and teaching Thai yoga massage after completing her training in Chiang Mai, Thailand. She has been teaching workshops and certified courses in many different countries as well as hosting Thai yoga massage retreats.  Recently she decided to extend her journey into the path of yoga and has become a certified teacher in hatha and vinyasa.
